Litten was educated at the Textile Academy in Hellerup and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts – School of Design in Copenhagen and has been living and working in Iceland since 2011. Besides her own practice she was the manager for the Residency- & Projects program at Skaftfell Center for Visual Art; she was a co-founder of East Iceland based RoShamBo; she is behind the design label RÓ and FOSS Editions – an artist run publishing house for limited editions. Besides her own studio practise she has been teaching courses in Art and design for Skaftfell, The Technical Museum of East Iceland, Reykjavík Art School and Iceland University of the Arts where she has also been supervising the fine art print workshop and Textile workshop.
