FIELDS is a series of handcrafted rugs, tufted with plant dyed Icelandic wool, dyed with locally available material.

Each FIELD Object is composed of a range of ”plants” or colors from different kinds of growth, in limited areas (hence the name Fields) making it unique in its expression. Plant dyed icelandic wool yarn mixed with wool in natural colors makes the Fields vibrate visually, adding an element of subtle organic lines or directions to each color section.

FIELDS can be placed on that special spot on the floor or hung on the wall, and considers local resource and craftsmanship and ecological resources, nuancer and biological balances of life.

The RÓ daybed Ösp is made in Iceland in of pure solid Poplar wood – as a part of the RÓ collection  is designed in collaboration between myself and Haraldur Karlsson.

A minimalistic, aesthetic and functional design which allows the daybed to be easily assembled and disassembled without any tools – each piece pleasant to the touch and handle. The daybed includes the RÓ fine Wool Mattress in a single or two colored version; Midnight blue or Anthrasite Grey, likewise handcrafted in iceland in 100 % pure wool.

My new RÓ botanical dyed round floor and meditation cushions, offers an ever changing color palette, produced in Iceland of pure wool and dyed in small series of 2-5 pieces at a time.

Each color tone batch unique to the specific plant circumstance and dye bath where slight color differences occur, each as unique as a flower.

The RÓ mattresses is filled with pure Icelandic wool, and swept in heavyweight wool uphostry. It can serve both as a futon mattress, mattress topper and an elegant daybed, folded into position or on an existing bed base; elevating the atmosphere of any space.
